Little Girl had a birthday this weekend, so now begins the week of leftover cake for breakfast. Then I shall be giant. Shall become giant? I will be huge. I have decided to look forward to the growing hugeness. At least until the cake is done, then I will whine and cry. Look forward to the whining and crying posts next week.
I also had my first experience with Zhu Zhu pets. They are oddly hypnotizing, squeaking and spinning in random circles as they run through their little hamster habitat. Not that I'm likely to play with them without the children, but I did sit there and watch for many more minutes than seemed logical.
And the children and I are making our way through Avatar: The Last Airbender. (The show, before the movie). They're actually pretty good. We all laugh. We like the Uncle best. OK, I like the uncle. The children like the flying bison. And the little monkey creature. I'm trying to decide if I have enough time to make Little Boy an avatar costume -- I think he's finally old enough to recognize something like that.
So this week brought, cake, mechanical hamsters, and airbending. What did it bring to you?
