The one on the left is dough from the Publix bakery. The one on the right, I made with a recipe.
The big difference is that the Publix dough hefts like a pillow while mine hefts like a brick. Bread is not as easy as you might think for recipes with only 4 to 6 ingredients.
I haven't figured it out yet.

I hope. I made it smaller than the one I made for me, but I'm not sure I made it small enough. She's quite a bit smaller than me.
But that's my craftiness of the week. Sooooo exciting.
My husband made beer bread one time, and we never did figure out why two loaves were awesome and two were bricks. We could have constructed a patio from the latter.
